The Impact of Vision Therapy

"Don't hesitate to begin vision therapy, it was the best decision for our daughter! Before we began, she really struggled with all aspects of school, sports were hard and her self-confidence was low. We put in all the effort with her weekly appointments and home therapy. It took a lot of commitment but we saw so much growth along the way. Thirty weeks later she is excited to read chapter books that are on her grade level, she willingly completes school work, and some days extra work! She has tried new sports and isn't as clumsy or having a hard time. And her self-confidence is the best growth of all! She has become a noticeably different person and we are so incredibly thankful for vision therapy and Miss Amy!"

"Before therapy began, Kade struggled in almost all aspects of school. Kade did not enjoy reading and this was his biggest struggle. Kade had a very difficult time in remembering what he read. This problem led to the dislike of reading and poor grades. Vision Therapy has helped him regain interest in reading again by retraining his eyes to "see" the words he reads leading to a stronger comprehension. At 12-years-old, this is super important as it leads to self-confidence being stronger! I hear less, "I can't" from Kade because he has regained his confidence. Thank you!"

"Nine months ago, we started something new to help our daughter see better. She was having a hard time reading and focusing in school. She was also seeing doubles. After an evaluation from the doctor at Vision Clinic, it was determined she needed eye therapy. At first, it was tough. Some days she didn't feel like doing the exercises and her eyes would get very tired, very fast. Little by little, things with her eyes started improving and she began to improve at school. She didn't complain about headaches as much. Her confidence also improved in these last nine months. We're so proud of how far she's come and this journey was definitely worth it! We're so thankful for Tish and the amazing doctors and therapists that helped our sweet girl!

"Our son was struggling with hand-eye coordination, a lazy eye, and focus. Since starting therapy we've seen significant improvement in all areas. His handwriting is much better, he is much more coordinated and best of all his eyes are working as a team. Most people wouldn't even notice. We are so grateful for the team that helped.
